_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

A data set with descriptions of hypothetical samples corresponding
to 23 species of gilled mushrooms in the Agaricus and Lepiota
Family, classified according to their edibility as (definitely)
'edible' or 'poisonous' (definitely poisonous, or of unknown
     edibility and not recommended).

_D_e_t_a_i_l_s:

The records are drawn from G. H. Lincoff (1981) (Pres.), _The
Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Mushrooms_. New
York: Alfred A. Knopf. (See pages 500-525 for the Agaricus and
     Lepiota Family.)

The Guide clearly states that there is no simple rule for
determining the edibility of a mushroom; no rule like "leaflets
three, let it be" for Poisonous Oak and Ivy.

Unused levels in the original data were dropped.
