_W_e_e_k_l_y _w_a_g_e_s _o_f _U_S _m_a_l_e _w_o_r_k_e_r_s _i_n _1_9_8_8

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     The 'uswages' data frame has 2000 rows and 10 columns. Weekly
     Wages for US male workers sampled from the Current Population
     Survey in 1988.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     data(uswages)

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     This data frame contains the following columns:

     '_w_a_g_e' Real weekly wages in dollars (deflated by personal
          consumption expenditures - 1992 base year)


     '_e_d_u_c' Years of education

     '_e_x_p_e_r' Years of experience

     '_r_a_c_e' 1 if Black, 0 if White (other races not in sample)

     '_s_m_s_a' 1 if living in Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area, 0 if
          not

     '_n_e' 1 if living in the North East

     '_m_w' 1 if living in the Midwest

     '_w_e' 1 if living in the West

     '_s_o' 1 if living in the South

     '_p_t' 1 if working part time, 0 if not
